Terms of Use
1. Operator and acceptance
These Terms govern use of the pepeAR on-site augmented-reality experience operated by 广州竭力信息科技有限公司. By starting the experience, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not start or continue the experience.
2. The experience
pepeAR uses Snap Camera Kit on event devices to let guests select curated augmented-reality effects, view themed scenes, and create a personal souvenir photo or video. Available Lenses, backgrounds, recording length, sharing options, and device availability may change.
3. Camera and media
- Camera access is required for the AR experience.
- The current production scope records video without microphone audio.
- You are responsible for reviewing a generated result before saving or transferring it.
- Use AirDrop or another share destination only with a device and recipient you control or trust.
- Temporary results on a public device may be automatically cleared without recovery.
4. Your responsibilities
You must not:
- record another person without the notice or consent required by applicable law;
- create, display, or share unlawful, infringing, harassing, deceptive, unsafe, or abusive content;
- interfere with the event device, camera, network, software, Lens assets, security controls, or other guests;
- attempt to extract credentials, reverse engineer restricted services, or use the experience outside its intended event setting;
- misrepresent pepeAR as an official Snapchat or Snap product.
5. Snap, Apple and third-party services
Snap Camera Kit, Snapchat Lens pages, Apple iOS, AirDrop, website hosting, and destinations selected through the system share sheet are third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. Snap Inc. does not operate pepeAR, and our use of Camera Kit does not imply Snap’s sponsorship of the event except as expressly stated by Snap.
6. Public Lens links and QR codes
A QR code or link may open an external public Lens page in Snapchat. External Lens availability and eligibility are controlled by Snap and the Lens owner. Displaying a link does not add that public Lens to pepeAR’s Camera Kit Lens Group. Snapchat’s age and account requirements apply after leaving pepeAR.
7. Intellectual property
pepeAR software, presentation, and original materials are owned by us or our licensors. Camera Kit, Snapchat, Snap marks, and Lens content are owned by Snap or the relevant creator and are used under applicable terms. These Terms do not transfer ownership of software, Lens assets, trademarks, or event materials.
8. Availability and safety
The experience is provided for temporary event use and may be paused, reset, modified, or unavailable because of camera, network, device, Lens, maintenance, or safety conditions. Follow venue instructions, keep the stand and surrounding area clear, and stop immediately if use causes discomfort.
9. Children and young guests
At events in China, a guest under 13 may use pepeAR only after a parent or legal guardian has been informed about the experience, has provided consent before the session, remains present, and directs the guest’s use with event-staff supervision. External Snapchat QR codes or links are not shown to or made available for scanning by guests under 13. A photo or video may be saved, shared, or transferred by AirDrop for a guest under 13 only at the parent’s or guardian’s direction and only to a device the parent or guardian controls or approves. The current service is not offered to users under 13 in the United States, and the U13 setting in the Snap Developer Portal remains disabled. We will update the Portal configuration, product flow, notices, and these Terms before serving that audience.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the experience is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that every Lens, device, recording, transfer, or external link will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Any additional limitation of liability must be reviewed for the jurisdiction where the event takes place.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without overriding mandatory consumer rights. Questions may be sent to huanghongrui@jielixinxi.com.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms as the experience changes. The effective date shown above identifies the current version.
